Missing RotJ Scene Between Luke and Vader

[set when Luke offers himself up to Vader]

Luke: "So, Father..."

Vader: "Yes, son?"

Luke: "There's something I've been wanting to tell you for a while now."

Vader: "I'm not turning back to the light side, son."

Luke: "Not that."

Vader: "Then what is it?"

Luke: "You've missed a ton of my birthdays. You have a LOT of present-giving to do before you're even -close- to being caught up."

Vader: "^sigh^ I know, son, I know."

Luke: "Anyway... I need a few thousand credits. See, I want a new spaceship, some upgrades for R2D2 (have you -seen- the dents in his dome?), a -whole- new wardrobe, and I'll need to pay a very expensive doctor's bill after this meeting. I can just feel it. So? How 'bout it?"

Vader: "Sure, son. In fact, here's two million credits."

Luke: "Thanks, Father. I love you!"

Vader: "^snif^ I love you too!"

[both hug]
[lift comes to a stop]

Luke: "You'll never turn me to the dark side!"

Vader: "The Emperor is your true master!"

[fade out]
